On January 31, 2015, Mary Luros was appointed to fill the vacancy on the City Council due to former Councilmember Alfredo Pedroza’s appointment to the Napa County Board of Supervisors. In her short time on the Council, Mary has proven herself to be an effective leader, working to find common sense solutions to some of Napa’s biggest challenges, such as traffic, public safety, responsible development and growing the local economy.
Mary is a business attorney and partner at Hudson & Luros, LLP, a Napa law firm that she started in 2008 with her husband Jason. Mary has years of experience representing individuals, families, nonprofits, and for-profit businesses in the Bay Area and throughout the state. She has been recognized as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers, and has been named to their list of Top Women Attorneys in Northern California.
Mary received her Juris Doctorate from Golden Gate University School of Law, and is a proud graduate of Saint Mary’s College of California, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Politics and a minor in Religious Studies.
