My Top 3 Priorities

  • Financial accountability and integrity, transparency and full disclosure of past fiscal decisions.
  • Safely reopen schools in a manner that minimalizes screen time for children. Teachers and children in the classroom become normal using necessary technology.
  • I want to preserve the sex education material that reflects our community values. I support a curriculum faithful to our American History.

Experience

Biography

I am a grateful beneficiary of a California public education, followed by additional education from Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, CA. I am married with 3 adult children and 10 grandchildren.  My work experience ranges from “blue collar” to leadership and administrative rolls. I am experienced with management of both non-profits as well as for profit businesses.  As a 13-year resident of Paso Robles I am aware of the financial challenges we face, and the positive foundation we have in our school district history.  I would like to bring my passion for integrity, quality education and faith in the future to the table.

If elected I look forward to working together with the District’s guiding principles, I would be an encourager of a team that is preparing students for successful careers, to become active community members and to be ready for the challenges of advanced education.

Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

I am a Constitutionalist.  I believe America is the greatest and most free country to ever exist.  Since our founding we have improved on original flaws that came as a result of compromise.  Those corrections have provided full freedom for all citizens regardless of race, religion or sex.  I believe the smaller the government the greater the liberty of the individual.  I believe the government should work the hardest to control cost since the government (especially the local) has no money except what they take from hardworking citizens.
