Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

Any local representative must have the interests of the public as a whole as their first priority - quality of life, safe streets for the traveling public, bicycles, walkers, children going to school.

Avoid any untoward links to special interests so the decision-making process is for the best interests of the community.

I am very concerned how imposed densities, heights and build-ups with infil projects will hurt our small community with adverse impacts such as traffic, noise, that impacts quality of life.

Our city needs once and for all a tree canopy, tree preservation ordinance passed to preseve what we can.  I see trees coming down every day to replace with large building projects, we need to be better stewards of the land.

No new taxes of the already overburdened taxpayer.

Our community must learn to take care of and prepare for the housing needs of every socioeconomic group, take care of our elderly and protect their low income housing from being wiped out.

As we go into this unknown and scary future with a myriad of tasks, let's all work together to ensure the health and safety of every citizen.
