Pismo Beach Mayor & City Council Candidates Forum

LWV SLOCO is partnering with South County Chambers of Commerce to moderate a forum for candidates for the Pismo Beach Mayor & City Council. Candidate forums are intended to provide the public with an opportunity to learn about the candidates and their views on the issues.

The deadline to submit questions is Monday, September 28 at 5:00 pm.
Community members are encouraged to submit their questions for the candidates in advance of the forum. Questions should be on the issues and applicable to all candidates. Send your questions to info@lwvslo.org. Include “Pismo Beach Forum” on the subject line of your email.

As a Mayor of a small city, I have not considered how I might help those who been released and seeking to build a new life.

With 8,000 people eligible for release from CA prisons to help stem the transmission of COVID-19, how, if at all, would your office aid these Californians and their families in navigating reentry?

My office does not have the resources to help these individuals.
