I support increased mental health services, substance abuse services, and proven strategies to help our homeless community members achieve housing and stability. We need to look into other solutions than just tent encampents and sweeping streets to get these folks back on their feet. I support efforts to accelerate building for home and apartments. One major hurdle to building is ensuring there's enough water in an area to sustain the population that will be placed in these new housing developments, so I will make sure we improve our water collection and storage infrastructure in the valley. We need our local municipalities to work with the county to improve our strategic plans to coalesce and ensure our urban sprawl is maintained in a sustainable way and for our farming community to continue to prosper so we can solve our affordable housing crisis together.

I support the state's effort sto reach carbon neutrality by 2045 but that means making sure that working class families and local businesses are able to afford the transition to carbon neutrality. I support any proposals that will support our residents to make the jump to electrical vehicles, the use of solar panels for our homes, schools, and local businesses or other alternative energy sources but not if it'll be detrimental to their financial security and if our alternative energy infrastructure doesn't vastly improve in the Central Valley. If we don't take those factors into account, Central Valley residents will be left behind the rest of the state and we aren't going to hit our target goals.
